Mother adela galindo

Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Born in Nicaragua and later moving to the United States, Mother Adela Galindo has a master’s degree in theology and two Doctoris honoris causa. She founded a bilingual religious family: Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary Religious Sisters, Brothers, and Priests, and Lay Apostles of the Pierced Hearts. Mother Adela has been an untiring evangelizer throughout the world through preaching, leading pilgrimages, and works of solidarity especially in the Holy Land, for which she has received many recognitions such as the St. Vincent de Paul Award, and named a Dame of the Holy Sepulchre.

Dr. Mary Healy is professor of Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and a bestselling author and international speaker. She is a general editor of the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture and author of two of its volumes, The Gospel of Mark and Hebrews. Her other books include The Spiritual Gifts Handbook and Healing. Dr. Healy serves the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian unity as a member of the Pentecostal-Catholic International Dialogue. She is one of the first three women ever to serve on the Pontifical Biblical Commission, and is a consultor to the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

Father Chris Alar, MIC, is the Provincial Superior of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy Province of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception in the United States and Argentina. He wrote and produced the popular "Divine Mercy 101" and "Explaining the Faith" YouTube series and is the author of the bestselling books After Suicide: There's Hope for Them and for You, as well as Understanding Divine Mercy. He is host of the EWTN show Living Divine Mercy, which airs on Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. EST. From 2014-2024, he served as "Fr. Joseph, MIC," the Director of the Association of Marian Helpers.


Rev. David M. Vidal, Ph.D.

Pastor of Ave Maria Parish

Father David Mariano Vidal was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 13, 1973, the fifth of seven siblings. His parents, Alicia and Julio, live in Buenos Aires. He attended public primary schools and a private Catholic secondary school. In 1993, he began studies for the priesthood, and he was ordained in La Plata, Buenos Aires, on August 9, 2001. Father Vidal’s two brothers are missionary priests, and three of his sisters are nuns. After some years of missionary work in the United States, Fr. Vidal entered the graduate program in the School of Philosophy of the Catholic University of America in the fall 2009. He received the Licentiate degree in Philosophy in 2012, with a thesis on “Nature and Suppositum in the Metaphysics of Thomas Aquinas” under the direction of Msgr. John F. Wippel. He received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 2020, with a dissertation on “Res as Transcendental in the Metaphysics of Thomas Aquinas” under the direction of Gregory T. Doolan. He has been a lecturer at Saint John Vianney College Seminary, in Miami. In the Diocese of Venice, Father Vidal was assigned as Parochial Vicar of Ave Maria Parish, Ave Maria, in August 2017, Administrator of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Parish, LaBelle, in May 2018, and Pastor of Ave Maria Parish in February 2021.


DR. MARK MIRAVALLE, STD

Dr. Mark Miravalle earned his Sacred Theological Doctorate at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He holds the Saint John Paul II Chair of Mariology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has been teaching since 1986. He is the founder and senior editor of Ecce Mater Tua, an international journal of Mariology research. He is also president of the International Marian Association, comprised of more than 130 theologians, bishops, clergy, and laity worldwide who seek to promote Marian devotion and doctrine. Well known throughout the world for his lectures on Mariology, Dr. Miravalle has addressed several episcopal conferences, including those of South India, Nigeria, Venezuela, and Costa Rica. He has also assisted bishops with preliminary investigations into reported apparitions. Dr. Miravalle has spoken at numerous international conferences and has appeared on EWTN, National Public Radio, BBC, and Fox News. Dr. Miravalle is the author and editor of over 20 books in Mariology and Spiritual Theology, including his most recent works, Meet Your Mother: An Introduction to Mary; Meet Your Spiritual Father: An Introduction to St. Joseph; Time to Meet the Angels, and Jesus In You: The Indwelling Trinity in the Souls of the Just.
